i cannot stand my chemical romance's new fans=hot topic shoppers, avril haters (cause that's trendy), people who are to lazy to type the Y and O in the word YOU, thus the simple 'U'. hate em all. and sure i dont know the whole story on them kicking out Matt, and i should just shut the fuck up, but- not releasing a STATEMENT tells me enough.
Some ass at a hellogoodbye concert saw my Chemical Romance shirt and scoffed at me. And i it was my duty to say, hey man-they're a great, sincere band. i stood up for them. but now i am proven wrong. that guy was right. i have to start kissing his ass.
reading all the people going "o mi g0d im ur biggest fan!!!1 i no all the werds to "im not okay" gererd ur r sooo0 hawt! call me!" sickens me. i mean, that's great you know all the words!! I mean, the lyrics aren't repetitive AT ALL.
i do j'adore love the new album. it is quite good. but it doesnt give me the same feeling when i pop in Bullets. Yes, the new album is catchier, has more hooks, and all that good stuff. but it has NO "honey this mirror..." it has NO "vampires..." it has NO "early sunsets..." and it definetly has ABSOLUTELY NO "demolition lovers" it's not the same scream/insane/cry for help. (yes new fans! it's been more desperate!!) the new album has still got their dark-flare it's just not that desperate feeling I feel from the first album.
this has resulted in all the fans that helped build the band, hell- even a band member, leave....or write angry rants in their blogs (coughcough)- but they've gained a bunch of mediocre people who dare to, i daresay, call themselves goths or punkrockers...while not even knowing people like Siouxe and the Banshees or Black Flag ect.
i am very happy they're so successful. Plus, i wouldn't bitch about these people that i think are vile idiots who should get an education if the remaining members of MCR hadn't lied to the fans and kicked out a founder of the band, for what i can tell from the evidence, no reason at all.
once again, i have no problem with the change of the music or the major-label slapped on the back of the cd. i'm just really upset with the guys in the band's actions.
also, i've only just turned fourteen years old and i have a bigger brain-capacity than these idiots older than me (eh..15-19 year olds?) into corporate rock that they THINK isn't corporate rock.
i'm glad i've seen them live before the release of Revenge..and this swarm of asstards.
(i give you another paragraph!) these guys were my heros, i thought they would forever be the people that i could look up to. look at my fucking screenname! UnleashTheBats. my heros man--- wait...ah, nope, those fucking liars. i'm a fool.
everytime i dare to read the mcrjournal comment thread i just get DISGUSTED and glare at the screen from behind my sexy, sexy shades.
